Exercise and Fitness
Keeping fit is good business.
In the last 5 years, I have made a conscious effort to engage my body in some form of exercise and deliberate activities to keep fit at least monthly. Well, life happens and consistency proved to be such a difficult milestone to meet.
If you are like me, don’t despair.
Exercising and keeping fit may appear to be one of the hardest things to do until one starts, then it becomes one of the hardest things to consistently do. This is reality – most people’s reality and it has led to more gym drop-outs that anyone can imagine.
But why is it so? Despite all the benefits ‘they’ say it brings, most people don’t stay committed to it for the results to start coming in.
Well, truth is; nothing good comes easy.
If you want to make some money, more money, you have to let go of some hours of sleep. Want to be a good student, you have to read a lot, even at wee hours and sometimes at very odd locations. Want to be the best at what you do, you may have to work harder than others, read a lot, practise your art beyond the basics. In other words, THE EXTRA MILE IS WHERE THE GLORY LIES.
Therefore, every effort is mostly driven by the desired end goal. If the goal is not desirable enough, the effort will not be strong enough.
So, make your fitness goals appealing to you, they must be achievable and within a specific time frame.
Exercise is one of the ways to achieve a trimmer body. Beyond that, it helps to keep the body and soul healthy and well. What you need is simply 150 minutes a week. That translates to 30 minutes of exercise 5 times a week.
